Emotional Support Workshop For Educators

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of emotional support programs for elementary schools in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our programs for schools are crafted to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in meaningful discussions about respect and acceptance through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by working with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having inclusive communities where diversity is celebrated and understanding promoted is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: In the corporate sector, we offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
