Our goal at Don’t Hide It Flaunt It is encouraging tolerance and acceptance with the help of an inclusion curriculum for educators. Here DHIFI, we envision a world where the uniqueness of every child is not simply recognized but also celebrated. Our endeavors are essential in helping young people grow into individuals who are compassionate and confident. An Inclusion Curriculum

Promoting inclusivity activities for schools is the cornerstone of DHIFI’s mission. This entails instructing those who are younger on goal-setting, emotional intelligence, empathy, relationship-building, and prudent decision-making. At DHIFI, we broaden the scope of SEL by motivating students to embrace their special qualities with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Narrative exchange: Students boost their self-confidence and dismantle social barriers that commonly bring about bullying, by recounting their own life stories.
  • Emphasizing individuality: We teach that differences are strengths to be proud of, not deficits.

Included in our mission, we endorse for self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, cultivate respect for people from a variety of backgrounds, and make sure everybody feels they belong, irrespective of their differences.

SEL Activities For Families

To promote social emotional learning activity ideas students , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has additionally created Project Flaunt, an interactive online platform. We believe students are capable of being empowered and learn to accept themselves by fostering more inclusive environments and celebrating the things that make us unique. We believe that when students flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the result is increased confidence and empathy among peers. This is what this initiative is all about. Various activities and resources designed to integrate into school curricula, emphasizing social-emotional learning (SEL) and inclusion are provided by this program. Emotional Support Curriculum

Disability Support School Assemblies

Our school assemblies at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It turn social emotional learning programs into vibrant experiences that inspire empathy, kindness, and awareness of self and others. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
