Promoting inclusivity activities for schools to foster tolerance and acceptance is our mission at DHIFI. The vision of DHIFI is a community that does not merely recognize but actively celebrates every child’s individuality. Our efforts are crucial in helping young people grow into confident and compassionate individuals. Our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, communities, and corporate settings to this end.

Inclusion And Belonging Curriculum

At the core of DHIFI is the dedication we have to a SEL curriculum for corporations. This entails giving younger individuals instruction regarding emotional intelligence, goal-setting, relationship-building, empathy, and wise decision-making. At DHIFI, we increase the scope of SEL by inspiring students to take pride in their special qualities with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Exchanging narratives: Students boost their self-confidence and dismantle social obstacles that commonly cause bullying, by sharing the stories of their own lives.
  • Highlighting individuality: Our teachings confirm that unique attributes are beneficial resources, not disadvantages.

As part of our mission, we endorse for self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, foster respect for people from a variety of backgrounds, and make sure everyone feels they belong, despite their differences.

Self Acceptance Activity Ideas For Middle School

At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It, we have additionally created the Project Flaunt Hub, an online interactive platform for acceptance activities for families . Our belief is that students can be empowered and learn to accept themselves by fostering more inclusive environments and celebrating our differences. We believe that when students flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the result is increased empathy and confidence among peers. This is what this initiative is all about. Various activities and resources designed to integrate into school curricula, emphasizing inclusion and social-emotional learning (SEL) are offered by this program. To create a nurturing and understanding community where every student feels accepted and valued, schools should consider implementing these activities. Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
