Find Out More About The Power of Inclusion Programs for Students

Promoting empathy-based initiatives for educators to encourage acceptance and tolerance is what we’re all about at DHIFI. Every child’s individuality is something to be celebrated, and this is something we believe in strongly at DHIFI. We are dedicated to giving kids and teens the encouragement they need to lean into their differences and stand tall. Our endeavors are crucial in helping young people grow into compassionate and confident individuals. To this end, our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities.

SEL Activities

Promoting a inclusion program for educators is the cornerstone of DHIFI’s mission. Our aim is to teach young minds the ways to process their emotions, come up with positive goals, express empathy, cultivate meaningful relationships, and make better decisions. At DHIFI, we increase the scope of SEL by inspiring students to embrace their unique characteristics with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Exchanging narratives: Students boost their self-confidence and break down social obstacles that typically result in bullying, by recounting their own life stories.
  • Showcasing uniqueness: Our teachings confirm that one of a kind attributes are valuable assets, not shortcomings.

Championing the acceptance of one’s self and the acceptance of others, promoting respect for diverse backgrounds, and ensuring a feeling of belonging for everybody, no matter their uniqueness, are integral parts of our mission.

Acceptance Activity Ideas For Middle School

To promote acceptance activities for the classroom , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created an interactive online platform – Project Flaunt. We believe students can be empowered and learn to accept themselves by fostering more inclusive environments and celebrating the things that make us unique. We believe that when students are encouraged to flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the result is increased confidence and empathy among peers. This is what this initiative is all about. Various activities and resources designed to integrate into school curricula, emphasizing inclusion and social-emotional learning (SEL) are offered by this program. For schools looking to ensure each student feels accepted and valued, a understanding and supportive community can be created with the implementation of these activities. Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
