Bullying Prevention Workshops For Military Families

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with disability support programs for communities in many ways.

  • School Programs: SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum through our school programs. Students are engaged in substantive discussions concerning respect and acceptance through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Together with schools, we work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having communities that are inclusive that celebrate inclusion and promote understanding is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: In the corporate sector, we offer Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces. These programs are created to address the specific needs of each organization, promoting a culture of acceptance and respect among employees.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
