Our goal at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It is using SEL programs for organizations to advance tolerance and mutual respect. The power of embracing and celebrating our unique differences is something we strongly believe in at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It (DHIFI). With the help of engaging programs and activities, advancing acceptance, understanding, mutual respect and tolerance for observable and invisible differences is our mission.

An Inclusion Program Program

At the center the work we do at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Developing self-confidence, empathy, and healthy relationship skills for young people is what our programs are all about. We offer a variety of SEL activities tailored to foster an inclusive environment in communities, schools, and business settings. These activities encourage students to appreciate and understand their own and others’ one of a kind traits, fostering a culture of empathy and acceptance. Self Acceptance Activities For The Classroom

Project Flaunt is the perfect place to get started if you are searching for SEL activities for families . Our ‘Get to Know You’ activities are created specifically to help students connect on a deeper level. These activities produce chances for students to open up about themselves and discover more about the experiences of their peers, which is crucial for building an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Students are capable of gaining a better understanding of inclusion and create stronger interpersonal relationships through these connections. Inclusion Activities For Universities

We take empathy-based curriculum for universities very seriously at DHIFI. DHIFI’s inclusion programs are crafted to create inclusive spaces where everybody feels respected and valued. We deliver presentations and workshops that highlight how important inclusion is to a well functioning society by working with community organizations, schools, and corporations. Many different aspects of inclusion are addressed in our programs. This includes both visible differences like physical disabilities and mental health issues and learning disabilities which often go unseen.

Emotional Support Curriculum

At DHIFI, we are dedicated to providing anti-bullying initiatives for organizations. Many have unfortunately experienced first-hand the prevalence of bullying in so many educational settings. By working to promote empathy and understanding among students with anti-bullying activities, we can make significant progress against this. We provide tools and strategies to help students recognize and address behavior of bullying, fostering a safer and more supportive environment. When the importance of respecting differences is emphasized, a feeling of responsibility is developed in students that results in them creating a community that is bully-free. Every assembly, whether focused on bullying prevention, disability support, or inclusion, inspires students to value both their own worth and the unique value in others. We use compelling real-life stories, participatory dialogues, and reflection activities to guide young people to accept their individuality and celebrate what makes each person special. These assemblies go beyond awareness – they’re about empowering action and fostering enduring transformation within schools. Hoping to offer this impactful program to your students?

Anti-Bullying Workshops For Universities

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of disability acceptance workshops for students in many ways at DHIFI.

Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
