SEL Programs

At the center of our efforts at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Our programs are crafted to help children and teens build empathy, self-confidence and healthy relationship skills. We aim to foster inclusive environments in various locations, such as schools, communities, and even business settings and offer a variety of SEL activities to achieve this. Inclusion Activities For Organizations

At DHIFI, we take emotional support training for universities very seriously. Disability Education Workshops For Students

We advance our mission of emotional support program for universities in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our programs for schools are designed to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. Workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies are simply a few of the ways we work to engage students in meaningful discussions concerning topics like respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Our goal is to extend our reach beyond school environments by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
