An Inclusion Program Curriculum

Promoting an SEL curriculum is among the centerpieces of our efforts at DHIFI. Building self-confidence, empathy, and healthy relationship skills for young people is the objective of our programs. A range of SEL activities tailored to foster an inclusive environment in schools, communities, and business settings can be found at DHIFI. Belonging Curriculum For The Workplace

We take SEL activities for educators very seriously at DHIFI. Everyone deserves to feel respected and valued. The inclusion programs we offer are crafted to achieve this by creating inclusive spaces. Bullying Prevention Program

We’re dedicated to supplying anti-bullying initiatives for schools at DHIFI. Bullying remains a sizeable problem in educational settings of all kinds. Our anti-bullying activities strive to combat this problem by promoting empathy and understanding among students. We provide tools and strategies to help students recognize and address behavior of bullying, fostering an environment that’s built on safety and support. By highlighting the importance of respecting differences, we’re able to assist students in developing a sense of responsibility towards creating a bully-free community. Disability Support Training For Universities

We advance our mission of inclusion and belonging initiatives for educators in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum through our school programs. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies that engage students in meaningful discussions about respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: We aim to extend our reach beyond school environments by working with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having inclusive communities that celebrate inclusion and promote understanding is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: We provide Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the corporate sector. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
