Social Emotional Learning Program

Bullying Awareness Workshops For Educators

At DHIFI, we’re dedicated to advancing our mission with a SEL curriculum for universities in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Through our programs for schools, SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum. These programs include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies where students are engaged in meaningful discussions regarding respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Together with schools, we work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. What these programs work towards is building communities where understanding is promoted so that inclusion can be celebrated.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
