At the heart the work we do at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Our programs are crafted to help children and teens build self-confidence, empathy, and healthy relationship skills. We aim to promote inclusive environments in various locations, such as schools, communities, and even corporate settings and provide a range of SEL activities to this end. Inclusion Activities For Organizations

At DHIFI, we take empathy-based activities for students very seriously. At DHIFI, we believe that everyone deserves to feel respected and valued, which is why we strive to create more inclusive spaces through our inclusion programs. Anti-Bullying Curriculum

We are dedicated to supplying bullying awareness curriculum for summer camps at DHIFI. In educational settings of all kinds, bullying remains a significant problem. By promoting empathy and understanding among students with anti-bullying activities, we can make significant progress against this. We provide tools and strategies to assist students in recognizing and addressing behavior of bullying, fostering an environment that is safer and more supportive. By highlighting the importance of respecting differences, we help students develop a sense of responsibility towards creating a community that’s free of bully-free. Disability Support Workshops For Schools

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of a SEL curriculum for organizations in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Through our school programs, inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum. Workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies are simply a few of the ways students become engaged in meaningful discussions regarding topics like respect and acceptance.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
