An Inclusion Curriculum For Schools

We take SEL programs for educators very seriously at DHIFI. At DHIFI, we believe that feeling respected and valued is something everybody deserves, which is why we aim to create spaces that are more inclusive with the help of our inclusion programs. Bullying Prevention Initiatives For Universities

We advance our mission of social emotional learning programs for students in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Through our school programs, SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in meaningful discussions regarding acceptance and respect.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by working with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities where understanding is promoted so that inclusion can be celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: Our goal is for our reach to expand to the corporate sector as well. As part of this goal, Inclusion presentations and training sessions are offered so that more inclusive workspaces can be created by companies. These programs are tailored to address each organization’s specific needs, promoting a culture among employees that’s built respect and acceptance.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
