An Inclusion Program Program

At the center the work we do at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Our programs are designed to help children and teens develop self-confidence, empathy, and healthy relationship skills. We offer an array of SEL activities customized to foster an inclusive environment in communities, schools, and corporate settings. We take an inclusion and belonging program for organizations very seriously at DHIFI. Everyone deserves to feel valued and respected. Bullying Awareness Workshop For Students

We advance our mission of emotional support training for educators in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum through our school programs. Students are engaged in substantive discussions concerning acceptance and respect through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: In addition to schools, we collaborate with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. These programs strive to build inclusive communities that promote understanding and celebrate inclusion.
  • Corporate Programs: In the business sector, we offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that assist companies in creating workplaces that are more inclusive. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
