Through a broad range of activities and programs, mutual respect and tolerance for both seen and unseen differences can be significantly advanced.

An Inclusion Program Curriculum

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the center of what we do. Our programs are designed to help young people develop self-confidence, empathy, and skills for healthy relationships. Inclusion Programs For Students

We take SEL programs for schools very seriously at DHIFI. DHIFI’s inclusion programs are crafted to create inclusive spaces where everybody feels valued and respected. We deliver workshops and presentations that highlight the importance of inclusion by working with schools, community organizations, and businesses. Anti-Bullying Workshop For Schools

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of a social emotional learning program for students in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum through our school programs. Students are engaged in meaningful discussions regarding acceptance and respect through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
