Inclusion Activities

At the center of our efforts at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Our programs are designed to help children and teens build self-confidence, empathy, and healthy relationship skills. A variety of SEL activities customized to foster an inclusive environment in schools, communities, and business settings can be found at DHIFI. Self Acceptance Activities For Families

Sel Activities For Summer Camps

At DHIFI, we take inclusion programs for educators very seriously. DHIFI’s inclusion programs are crafted to create inclusive spaces where everyone feels respected and valued. Many different aspects of inclusion are addressed in our programs. Bullying Prevention Workshops For Companies

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of bullying awareness initiatives for universities in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum through our programs for schools. Students are engaged in meaningful discussions about respect and acceptance through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by working with summer camps, community organizations, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. What these programs work towards is building communities where understanding is promoted so that inclusion is capable of being celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: We offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that assist companies in creating workplaces that are more inclusive as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the business sector. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
