Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the center of what we do. We have created programs for children and teens to make certain they receive the assistance they need to experience relationships that are healthier, increased empathy, and a boost to their confidence. We aim to promote inclusive environments in various locations, such as communities, schools, and even corporate settings and offer a variety of SEL activities to achieve this. Bullying Prevention Training For Universities

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of a social emotional learning curriculum for students in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Through our school programs, SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum. Students are engaged in meaningful discussions concerning respect and acceptance through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: We aim to extend our reach past school environments by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities that promote understanding so that inclusion can be celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: Our goal is to expand our reach to the corporate sector as well. As part of this goal, Inclusion presentations and training sessions are offered so that more inclusive workspaces are capable of being created by companies. These programs are created to address each organization’s specific needs, promoting a culture among employees that’s built acceptance and respect.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
