Disability Education Curriculum For Organizations

We advance our mission of bullying awareness training for organizations in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our programs for schools are crafted to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in substantive discussions about respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: We aim to extend our reach beyond the classroom by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having communities that are inclusive that celebrate inclusion and promote understanding is what these programs work towards.
  • Corporate Programs: We aim to expand our reach to the corporate sector as well. To achieve this, Inclusion presentations and training sessions are offered so that workplaces that are more inclusive can be created by companies. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
