Belonging Programs For Corporations

Disability Education Workshops For Schools

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of disability education workshop for summer camps in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum through our programs for schools. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies that engage students in substantive discussions about respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Together with schools, we collaborate with summer camps, community organizations, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having communities that are inclusive that celebrate inclusion and promote understanding is the goal of these programs.
  • Corporate Programs: In the business sector, we offer Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces. Each organization’s needs are taken into account with these programs. A culture of acceptance and respect among employees is what these programs promote.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
