Inclusion Activities

At the heart of our efforts at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Developing empathy, self-confidence, and healthy relationship skills for young people is the objective of our programs. We strive to foster inclusive environments in various locations, including schools, communities, and even business settings and offer a variety of SEL activities to achieve this. These activities encourage students to appreciate and understand their own and others’ unique traits, fostering a culture of empathy and acceptance. SEL Activities For The Classroom

Inclusion Activities For Educators

We take social emotional learning programs for organizations very seriously at DHIFI. At DHIFI, our belief is that everyone deserves to feel valued and respected, which is why we strive to create spaces that are more inclusive with the help of our inclusion programs. We deliver workshops and presentations highlighting the importance of inclusion by working with community organizations, schools, and businesses. Many different aspects of inclusion are addressed in our programs. This includes both things you can see like physical disabilities and mental health issues and learning disabilities which often go unseen.

Emotional Support Programs

At DHIFI, we are dedicated to offering bullying prevention training for students. A large number of people have unfortunately experienced the prevalence of bullying in educational settings of all kinds. Our anti-bullying activities aim to combat this issue by promoting understanding and empathy among students. We provide tools and strategies to help students recognize and address bullying behavior, fostering a safer and more supportive environment. When the importance of respecting differences is emphasized, a sense of responsibility is developed in students that results in them creating a community that is bully-free. Emotional Support Training For Organizations

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with empathy-based workshop for military families in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Through our school programs, SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum. Students are engaged in meaningful discussions about respect and acceptance through these programs, which include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having inclusive communities that celebrate inclusion and promote understanding is the goal of these programs.
