Bullying Awareness Training

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with anti-bullying programs for educators in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Our programs for schools are designed to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions about respect and acceptance through these programs, which include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Together with schools, we collaborate with summer camps, community organizations, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. Having communities that are inclusive where diversity is celebrated and understanding promoted is the goal of these programs.
  • Corporate Programs: We aim to expand our reach to the corporate sector as well. As part of this goal, Inclusion presentations and training sessions are offered so that more inclusive workspaces are capable of being created by companies. The specific needs of each organization are taken into account with these programs. A culture of respect and acceptance among employees is promoted by these programs.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
