A Belonging Curriculum

At the center the work we do at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). We’ve developed programs for children and teens to ensure they receive the help they need to experience relationships that are healthier, increased empathy, and a boost to their confidence. We offer an array of SEL activities customized to foster an inclusive environment in schools, communities, and corporate settings. These activities motivate students to understand and appreciate their own and others’ one of a kind qualities, fostering a culture of empathy and acceptance. A Belonging Program For Schools

We take a social emotional learning program for educators very seriously at DHIFI. At DHIFI, our belief is that feeling valued and respected is something everyone deserves, which is why we aim to create spaces that are more inclusive through our inclusion programs. Bullying Prevention Training For Students

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with a social emotional learning curriculum for students in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Our programs for schools are crafted to integrate SEL and inclusion education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions about acceptance and respect through these programs, which include workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Our goal is to extend our reach past school environments by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. What these programs work towards is building communities where understanding is promoted so that inclusion can be celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: We offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that help companies create more inclusive workplaces as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the business sector. During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
