Disability Education Program For Companies

At DHIFI, we advance our mission with a social emotional learning curriculum for organizations in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Through our school programs, SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in substantive discussions about respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Together with schools, we work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities that promote understanding so that inclusion is capable of being celebrated.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
