Our mission is advancing understanding, acceptance, mutual respect and tolerance for apparent and hidden differences through compelling activities and programs.

An Inclusion Program Program

Advancing an SEL curriculum is one of the centerpieces of our efforts at DHIFI. Our programs are crafted to help children and teens develop empathy, self-confidence and healthy relationship skills. A range of SEL activities customized to foster an inclusive environment in communities, and corporate settings are capable of being found at DHIFI. To promote a culture of acceptance and empathy, students are motivated to understand and appreciate the qualities that make themselves and others special with these activities. SEL Activities For The Classroom

Project Flaunt is the ideal place to begin when you’ve been trying to find social emotional activities for kids . Students are invited to form deeper connections with our ‘Get to Know You’ activities. Belonging Programs For Corporations

At DHIFI, we take belonging activities for schools very seriously. Everybody deserves to feel respected and valued. Disability Education Training

At DHIFI, we’re dedicated to advancing our mission with an inclusion program for corporations in a variety of ways.

  • School Programs: Inclusion and SEL education are integrated into the curriculum through our school programs. These programs include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies where students are engaged in substantive discussions regarding acceptance and respect.
  • Community Programs: In addition to schools, we collaborate with summer camps, community organizations, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities that promote understanding so that inclusion is capable of being celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: In the business sector, we offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that help companies create workplaces that are more inclusive. The specific needs of each organization are taken into account with these programs. A culture of respect and acceptance among employees is what these programs promote.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
