We believe that inclusion initiatives for universities can truly make a difference in the world. At the heart of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. The tools of SEL equip individuals, particularly students, with the knowledge to understand and manage emotions, develop strong social skills, and make informed decisions. SEL activities can enhance awareness of the experiences of others, encourage team building and encourage enhanced communication. The social skills needed for self-growth and academic achievement can be established with these activities as they help build stronger connections. Social Emotional Learning Program For Universities

We also focus on a inclusion curriculum for organizations together with social emotional learning activities. Creating environments where everyone feels a sense of belonging, regardless of their race, gender, abilities, or background is the goal of our Inclusion programs. We go beyond inclusion by encouraging true inclusion and inclusion – with a goal of ensuring equal opportunities for all. Our programming is designed for schools, businesses, and community groups, with engaging formats that tackle an array of topics.

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
