At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we nurture environments where this is capable of happening by embracing differences. Our goal is to promote tolerance, self-confidence and empathy for individuals of all backgrounds through a variety of programs.

Inclusion Programs

We believe that SEL programs for students can truly make a difference in the world. At the core of DHIFI’s work is Social Emotional Learning. SEL provides individuals – students in particular – with the resources to understand and control their emotions, build strong interpersonal skills, and improve decision-making skills. SEL activities offer a lot of benefits for both teams and individuals. A few examples include improvements in communication, better empathic understanding, and the building of strong teams. The social skills needed for self-growth and scholastic success can be established with these activities as they help build stronger connections. A Belonging Program For Organizations

We also focus on inclusion activities for students together with social emotional learning activities. Our Inclusion programs are structured to create environments where each person can feel they belong, no matter their gender, race, abilities, or background. We don’t settle at inclusion; we work to create inclusion and inclusion where each person has access to the same opportunities. Our programs benefit schools, corporations, and communities with engaging formats that cover topics across a wide range.

At DHIFI, we support empathy-based activities middle school for organizations with a variety of programs designed for schools, companies, and communities. Our Speaking Engagements include inspirational talks that confront assumptions about differences and disabilities. By promoting personal creativity through art, together with fostering empathy and inclusion, participants engage in impactful activities in our interactive programs. Our programs for students start a critical dialogue, with a focus on celebrating the things that make us unique and building an atmosphere of kindness and respect among peers. Emotional Support Activities Disability Awareness Workshop For Military Families

Central to our mission at DHIFI is our commitment on disability education workshop for organizations. A failure in understanding and acceptance of differences is a common cause of bullying. We strive to tackle bullying’s core issues and equip students with tools to stand up against it when they encounter it daily. This is achieved through candid discussions and interactive programs. Giving students the tools and knowledge needed to spot bullying behaviors in their communities and to oppose them, we emphasize kindness, respect, and empathy. These programs spread awareness as well as build environments that are safer and more supportive for all by equipping students to transform into advocates for change. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
