Find Out About The Power of Inclusion And Belonging Programs for Universities

Encouraging tolerance and acceptance with inclusivity workshops for educators is our mission at DHIFI. Here DHIFI, we envision a world where the uniqueness of every child isn’t just recognized but something that is celebrated actively. Our mission is to give children and adolescents the confidence they need to accept their unique characteristics and stand proudly with confidence. The work we do helps young people grow into individuals who are confident and compassionate. To achieve this goal, our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, communities, and corporate settings.

Inclusion Programs

Central to DHIFI’s mission is the promotion of belonging initiatives for middle schools. We concentrate on developing the youth’s abilities for emotional comprehension, establishing beneficial goals, fostering empathic interactions, building relationships, and executing decisions. At DHIFI, we broaden SEL’s scope by inspiring students to take pride in their unique qualities with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Sharing narratives: Motivating individuals to share their stories strengthens their self-esteem and breaks down the societal constructs that regularly cause bullying.
  • Emphasizing individuality: We teach that differences are strengths to be valued, not deficits.

We champion the acceptance of oneself and others and promote individual respect from different walks of life, ensuring everyone is aware they have a place, regardless of their differences.

Sel Activity Ideas For Kids

To promote self acceptance activities for students , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created an interactive online platform – Project Flaunt. We believe students can be empowered and learn to accept themselves by fostering more inclusive environments and celebrating our differences. By encouraging students to flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the initiative seeks to build confidence and empathy among peers. Emphasizing social-emotional learning (SEL) and inclusion, the various resources and activities offered in this curriculum are designed for integration into school curricula. To create a understanding and nurturing community where every student feels valued and accepted, schools should consider implementing these activities. If you’re interested in SEL activity ideas families and want to learn more, visit Project Flaunt.

Inclusion Activities For Corporations

There’s a large number of reasons when it comes to inclusion programs for organizations, DHIFI stands out. Moreover, at the forefront of our endeavors at DHIFI are inclusion programs that add richness to educational experiences and build an accepting atmosphere.:

  • Encouraging a compassionate culture: When empathy and understanding are nurtured, bullying has no home.
  • Promoting understanding: Helping students adopt new viewpoints, which lessens exclusionary conduct.

Anti-Bullying Workshop For Organizations

DHIFI, created by Meg Zucker, isn’t just a nonprofit; it’s the embodiment of a personal journey toward self-acceptance. Meg and her husband, both with a unique genetic condition affecting their limbs, have three children, two of whom inherited the condition, creating a family deeply aware of the importance of accepting noticeable differences. From its inception, DHIFI has flourished into a vibrant community, inspiring families, schools, and individuals to openly celebrate their differences, turning things that were perceived as obstacles into springboards for growth and empowerment. To further our mission, speaking engagements are also given by Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It founder Meg Zucker. Discover more by getting in touch with us today.

Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
