Discover More About The Benefits of a Inclusion Curriculum for Organizations

At DHIFI, our mission is to foster tolerance and acceptance through a social emotional learning curriculum for organizations. Each child’s individuality is something to be celebrated, and this is something we believe in wholeheartedly at DHIFI. We’re committed to giving kids and teens the encouragement they need to celebrate their differences and stand tall. The work we do helps young people develop into individuals who are confident and compassionate. Our offerings include a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, corporate settings and communities to this end.

Inclusion Activities

Central to the mission at DHIFI is the promotion of a social emotional learning program for educators. This entails giving younger individuals instruction regarding goal-setting, emotional intelligence, empathy, relationship-building, and prudent decision-making. We magnify the impact of SEL at DHIFI by encouraging learners to celebrate the things that make them unique, supported by offerings for education that concentrate on increasing the reach of SEL, inspiring students to take pride in their individuality, which is reinforced by initiatives that include:

  • Story sharing: By sharing their personal experiences, students gain confidence and tackle the barriers that often lead to bullying.
  • Showcasing individuality: Our teachings reinforce that one of a kind attributes are beneficial assets, not shortcomings.

Championing the acceptance of one’s self and the acceptance of others, cultivating respect for various backgrounds, and ensuring a sense of belonging for everybody, regardless of their uniqueness, are integral parts of our objective.

Welcome Activities For Kids

To promote SEL activities for kids , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created an interactive online platform – Project Flaunt. Project Flaunt aims to empower students through the celebration of differences, promoting self-acceptance, and fostering an inclusive school environment. Building empathy and confidence among peers is the objective of this initiative, which can be achieved by encouraging students to flaunt their unique qualities and experiences. The program provides various resources and activities designed to integrate into school curricula, emphasizing social-emotional learning (SEL) and inclusion. Schools can implement these activities to create a nurturing and understanding community where each student feels valued and accepted. Interested in classroom activity ideas and want to learn more? A Belonging Program For Companies

There’s a large number of reasons when it comes to inclusion and belonging programs for educators, DHIFI stands out. Along with these initiatives, DHIFI is committed to wiping out bullying, with strategies that include:

  • Advocating for kindness: Understanding each other helps make the environment unsuitable for bullying.
  • The promotion of understanding: Assisting students in taking on different viewpoints, which diminishes exclusionary conduct.

Anti-Bullying Initiatives

Thinking about DHIFI for a social emotional learning curriculum for students? Our organization, created by Meg Zucker, was created from an individual journey and is committed to the promotion of self-acceptance. Harnessing the collective experiences of their family with obvious differences, Meg and her husband-who share a rare genetic condition-have inspired DHIFI to grow into a community where sharing differences is the norm. DHIFI started as a seed of an idea and in the time that has followed has grown into a vibrant community, where families and educational institutions are encouraged to celebrate their differences, transforming potential barriers into opportunities for empowerment. DHIFI founder Meg Zucker additionally offers speaking engagements to further our mission. Discover more by getting in touch with us today.

Emotional Support School Assemblies

At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, our social emotional learning programs are brought to life through inspiring school assemblies that ignite understanding, self reflection, and community. Whether themed around anti-bullying, disability support, or belonging, each assembly encourages students to view themselves – and one another – in a different perspective. By integrating personal narrative, participatory dialogue, and reflective exercises, we inspire students to value their own individual traits and those in their community. They do more than teaching by fueling genuine student action and fostering a lasting inclusive culture in school communities. Planning to deliver this kind of inclusive experience to your school community?

Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
