At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we believe in the power of embracing differences and building environments where everyone can feel seen, valued and heard. Through our wide variety of programs, we work to promote acceptance, empathy, and self esteem for people from all backgrounds.

Inclusion And Belonging Programs

We believe that social emotional learning programs for organizations is truly capable of making a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is a core part of our work at DHIFI. SEL gives individuals – particularly students – with the resources to understand and control their emotions, build strong social connections, and improve decision-making skills. SEL activities offer a lot of benefits for individuals and teams alike. A few examples include improvements in communication, increased empathy, and stronger team building. Connecting with themselves and others, these activities lay the groundwork the social skills needed for self-growth and scholastic success. A Inclusion Curriculum For Schools

We also focus on inclusion programs for summer camps in addition to social emotional learning activities. Creating environments where everyone feels a sense of inclusion, no matter their race, gender, abilities, or background is the aim of our Inclusion programs. We don’t settle at inclusion; we work to create inclusion and inclusion where everyone can access the same opportunities. Bullying Prevention Activities Bullying Awareness Training For Educators

Key to our mission at DHIFI is our dedication on bullying prevention program for companies. A failure in understanding and recognition of differences is what often leads to bullying. We confront the core issues behind bullying and give students tools to defend themselves through interactive activities and candid discussions. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
