SEL Programs

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is at the center of what we do. Our programs are crafted to help young people develop empathy, self-confidence and skills for healthy relationships. Disability Education Program For Companies

We advance our mission of social emotional learning workshops for elementary schools in many ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: Our programs for schools are designed to integrate inclusion and SEL education into the curriculum. Students are engaged in substantive discussions regarding acceptance and respect through these programs, which include classroom activities, workshops, and assemblies.
  • Community Programs: Together with schools, we work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities that promote understanding so that inclusion can be celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: We offer Inclusion, and Belonging presentations and training sessions that assist companies in creating more inclusive workplaces as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the corporate sector. A culture of respect and acceptance among employees is promoted through these programs which are tailored to each organization’s specific needs.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
