At DHIFI, our mission is to foster tolerance and acceptance with the help of inclusivity activities for organizations. Here DHIFI, we dream of a world where the uniqueness of every child isn’t just recognized but something that is celebrated actively. Our mission is to give adolescents and children the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and stand proudly with confidence. Helping young people develop into individuals who are confident and compassionate is the focus of the work we do. We work on developing initiatives for an array of institutions, such as schools, centers for higher learning, local communities and businesses.

Inclusion Programs

At the heart of DHIFI is the dedication we have to inclusion programs for students. We concentrate on developing the youth’s capacity for emotional understanding, establishing positive goals, cultivating empathic interactions, strengthening relationships, and executing choices. We amplify the impact of SEL at DHIFI by encouraging learners to celebrate the things that make them unique, supported by offerings for education that emphasize expanding SEL’s reach, encouraging students to take pride in their uniqueness, supported by endeavors that include:

  • Sharing narratives: Encouraging students to share their stories builds their self-esteem and breaks down the societal constructs that regularly cause bullying.
  • Showcasing individuality: Our teachings confirm that unique characteristics are beneficial assets, not shortcomings.

Championing self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, cultivating regard for diverse backgrounds, and ensuring a sense of belonging for everybody, regardless of their uniqueness, are integral parts of our objective.

Icebreaker Activities For Kids

To promote SEL activity ideas students , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has additionally created Project Flaunt, an interactive online platform. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
