Our goal at Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It is using disability education workshops for students to advance mutual respect and tolerance. Inclusion And Belonging Activities

At the center the work we do at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning (SEL). Building self-confidence, empathy, and healthy relationship skills for children and teens is the goal of our programs. A variety of SEL activities tailored to foster an inclusive environment in communities, and corporate settings can be found at DHIFI. Social Emotional Activities For Families

At DHIFI, we take inclusivity program for organizations very seriously. Everyone deserves to feel respected and valued. Our inclusion programs are designed to achieve this by creating inclusive spaces. Bullying Prevention Workshops For Students

We’re dedicated to advancing our mission of bullying awareness program for organizations in a variety of ways at DHIFI.

  • School Programs: SEL and inclusion education are integrated into the curriculum through our programs for schools. Workshops, classroom activities, and assemblies are simply a few of the ways we work to engage students in substantive discussions concerning topics including respect and acceptance.
  • Community Programs: Our reach extends beyond schools by collaborating with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based groups, and other non-profits. The main objective of these programs is building communities where understanding is promoted so that inclusion is capable of being celebrated.
  • Corporate Programs: We offer Inclusion presentations and training sessions that assist companies in creating workplaces that are more inclusive as part of our goal of expanding our reach to the business sector. Each organization’s needs are taken into consideration with these programs. A culture of acceptance and respect among employees is what these programs promote.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
