At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, we aim to promote disability support programs for schools to help people celebrate the things that make them unique. Each individual should be able to feel recognized, heard, and valued. At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we foster environments where this can happen by embracing differences. We aim to promote tolerance, self-esteem and empathy for individuals of all backgrounds through a range of programs.

Inclusion And Belonging Curriculum

We believe that inclusion workshop for organizations can truly make a difference in the world. Social Emotional Learning is central of DHIFI’s work. SEL equips individuals, particularly students, with the knowledge to process and control emotions, build strong social skills, and make responsible choices. In addition to social emotional learning activities, we also focus on Inclusion activities for educators. Creating environments where everyone feels a sense of inclusion, no matter their race, gender, abilities, or background is the goal of our Inclusion programs. Our programs target schools, corporations, and communities with engaging formats that address a broad scope of topics.

With a wide array of programs geared toward schools, companies, and communities, we advocate for welcome activities for middle school at DHIFI. Challenging misunderstandings about disabilities and differences through empowering talks is central to our Speaking Engagements. Participants engage with our interactive programs to be highly engaging, fostering self-expression, introspection, and greater empathy and inclusion. Our student programs initiate an essential dialogue, centered around celebrating uniqueness and fostering an atmosphere of kindness and respect among peers. SEL Activities For Students

Our mission at DHIFI is to encourage individuals to celebrate what makes them different through empathy building activities middle school , rooted in the principle that differences should be celebrated, not concealed. We encourage people of all ages to celebrate their differences as an integral part of who they are. Through narrative sharing, keynote addresses, or seminars, our goal is to foster a world where inclusion is appreciated and embraced. By fostering respect and understanding, our goal is to create communities where everybody feels free to flaunt their differences with pride.

Anti-Bullying Programs Disability Support Workshop For Organizations

Bullying is often the result by an absence of understanding and appreciation, which is the reason we are so focused to disability education activities for educators. Through interactive activities and open discussions, we tackle the underlying reasons of bullying and provide students with tools to take action against it. Giving students the skills and awareness they need to spot bullying behaviors around them and to stand against them, we emphasize kindness, empathy, and respect strongly. These programs spread awareness as well as create environments that are safer and more supportive for all by equipping students to transform into advocates for change. Social Emotional Activities For Elementary School

To foster an increased sense of community and inclusion, you’ll find get to know you activities for families at Project Flaunt. We encourage individuals to not only embrace their differences but to share their stories with others through our one-of-a-kind initiative, Project Flaunt. These activities can include introductory games where individuals talk about something unique about themselves, group projects that focus on individual strengths, or storytelling sessions where students talk about how their differences influence their perspectives. School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience.
