Here DHIFI, we envision a world where the individuality of each young person isn’t simply recognized but also celebrated. Giving children and adolescents the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and hold their heads high is our mission at DHIFI. Our endeavors are essential in helping young people grow into compassionate and confident individuals. To achieve this goal, we provide a inclusion of programs for schools, universities, communities, and corporate settings.

SEL Activities

Core to DHIFI’s mission is the advancement of belonging programs for organizations. This entails giving younger individuals instruction regarding goal-setting, emotional intelligence, empathy, relationship-building, and making better choices. At DHIFI, we broaden the scope of SEL by inspiring students to take pride in their unique qualities with programs that highlight individualism.

  • Story sharing: By sharing the experiences they’ve had with others, students gain confidence and tackle the barriers that many times result in bullying.
  • Accentuating individuality: We enlighten students that their different traits are advantages rather than inadequacies.

As part of our mission, we advocate for self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, cultivate respect for people from diverse backgrounds, and ensure everybody feels they belong, despite their differences.

Welcome Activities For Kids

To promote welcome activity ideas kids , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has also created an interactive online platform – Project Flaunt. Our belief is that students are capable of being empowered and learn to accept themselves by fostering more inclusive environments and celebrating our differences. We believe that when students flaunt their unique experiences and qualities, the result is increased confidence and empathy among peers. This is what this initiative is all about. With inclusion and social-emotional learning (SEL) being strongly emphasized, the various activities and resources provided in this curriculum are designed for integration into school curricula. Emotional Support Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
