A Belonging Program

We believe that social emotional learning programs for educators is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the core of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. SEL equips individuals, especially students, with the skills to understand and manage emotions, develop interpersonal relationships, and make responsible choices. Increasing awareness of the experiences of others, encouraging team building and encouraging better communication are simply a few benefits of SEL activities. These activities help participants connect with themselves and others, building the essential social skills necessary for success, both personally and academically. Inclusion Activities For Companies

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we additionally focus on a belonging program for organizations. Our Inclusion programs are built to cultivate environments where every individual feels they are included, regardless of their race, gender, abilities, or background. More than just inclusion, we promote inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of ensuring equal access to the same opportunities. Our programming is designed for schools, businesses, and community groups, with engaging formats that address a range of topics.

Bullying Awareness Program For Companies

Bullying is often the result by a lack of understanding and respect, which is why we are so focused to disability support programs for schools. We target the core issues behind bullying and equip students methods to oppose it through interactive activities and honest discussions. Giving students the skills and awareness needed to recognize bullying behaviors in their communities and to oppose them, we strongly emphasize kindness, respect, and empathy. Our programs are focused on more than just educating. We want students to transform into active advocates for meaningful change. Welcome Activities For Middle School

Encouraging a sense of inclusion and community, Project Flaunt provides SEL activities for kids . Empowering individuals to celebrate their differences and tell their stories to others, Project Flaunt is a one-of-a-kind initiative. These activities may include introductory games where individuals talk about something unique about themselves, collaborative activities that highlight individual strengths, or storytelling sessions where students talk about how their differences shape their perspectives. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
