At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we believe in the power of embracing differences and building environments where every individual is capable of feeling seen, heard, and valued. Our goal is to promote tolerance, empathy, and self-confidence for people of all backgrounds through a range of programs.

Inclusion Programs

We believe that a SEL program for educators can truly make a difference in the world. At the heart of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. The tools of SEL equip individuals, particularly students, with the knowledge to process and manage emotions, develop interpersonal relationships, and make informed decisions. Increasing awareness of how others experience the world, encouraging the building of strong teams and fostering enhanced communication are simply a few benefits of SEL activities. Inclusion Activities For Students

We also focus on inclusion activities for schools together with social emotional learning activities. At DHIFI, we work hard to ensure that everybody feels like they belong, no matter their race, gender, background, or abilities. We take it a step further than inclusion by fostering true inclusion and inclusion – with the goal being ensuring equal opportunities for all. Our programs serve schools, businesses, and communities with engaging formats that cover topics across a wide range.

Inclusion Activities

At DHIFI, we promote acceptance activity ideas kids for students with a broad range of programs designed for companies, schools, and communities. Breaking down misunderstandings about differences and disabilities through inspirational talks is what our Speaking Engagements focus on. By promoting personal creativity through art, in addition to fostering empathy and inclusion, participants experience impactful activities in our interactive programs. Disability Support Programs Anti-Bullying Training For Educators

Critical to our mission at DHIFI is our focus on disability acceptance workshops for students. A gap in understanding and acceptance of differences is what often leads to bullying. We address the core issues behind bullying and equip students methods to oppose it through interactive activities and open discussions. Providing students with the tools and awareness they need to spot bullying behaviors around them and to fight back against them, we strongly emphasize kindness, empathy, and respect. Our programs are aimed at more than simply educating. We want students to transform into active advocates for meaningful change. Empathy Building Activities For Families

To foster an increased sense of belonging and connection, you’ll discover icebreaker activities for elementary school at Project Flaunt. Inspiring individuals to flaunt their differences and tell their stories to others, Project Flaunt is a unique initiative. Storytelling sessions where students explore how their differences shape their perspectives, collaborative efforts that emphasize individual strengths, and icebreakers where students discuss something special about themselves are examples of these activities. Our social emotional learning (SEL) and empathy-building programs are designed to build acceptance and empathy and create cultures of inclusion for schools, communities, companies, and beyond.

School Programs

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

Community Programs

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
