At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It, our mission is to foster tolerance and acceptance through a belonging curriculum for elementary schools. DHIFI’s vision is a society that does not merely recognize but actively celebrates each child’s individuality. Our mission is to give adolescents and children the confidence they need to accept their unique characteristics and stand proudly with confidence. Our efforts are crucial in helping young people develop into individuals who are confident and compassionate. This entails instructing those who are younger on goal-setting, emotional intelligence, relationship-building, empathy, and wise decision-making. We magnify SEL’s impact at DHIFI by encouraging learners to be proud of their individualism, supported by offerings for education that emphasize increasing SEL’s reach, inspiring students to take pride in their uniqueness, supported by endeavors that include:

  • Showcasing individuality: Our teachings reinforce that one of a kind features are valuable assets, not faults.

Self Acceptance Activities For Kids

To promote acceptance activity ideas students , Don’t Hide It Flaunt It has additionally created Project Flaunt, an interactive online platform. We believe students are capable of being empowered and learn to accept themselves by fostering more inclusive environments and celebrating our differences. Anti-Bullying Program

This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
