Discover The Benefits of a Inclusion Program

Fostering tolerance and acceptance with inclusivity activities for students is our mission at DHIFI. Here DHIFI, we dream of a world where the individuality of each young person isn’t just recognized but something that is celebrated actively. Our mission is to give adolescents and children the confidence they need to embrace their individuality and stand proudly with confidence. The work we do helps young people grow into individuals who are compassionate and confident. We work on developing initiatives for a variety of institutions, including schools, centers for higher learning, local communities and businesses.

Inclusion Programs

At the core of DHIFI is our dedication to inclusivity workshops for companies. We focus on developing the youth’s capacity for emotional comprehension, establishing positive goals, cultivating empathic interactions, strengthening relationships, and making informed choices. We amplify SEL’s impact at DHIFI by urging learners to celebrate their individualism, supported by offerings for education that emphasize broadening the reach of SEL, inspiring students to feel pride when it comes to their uniqueness, which is reinforced by initiatives that include:

  • Exchanging narratives: Students bolster their self-confidence and break down social barriers that commonly bring about bullying, by sharing the stories of their own lives.
  • Highlighting uniqueness: Our teachings reinforce that one of a kind characteristics are beneficial assets, not disadvantages.

Championing self-acceptance and the acceptance of others, fostering regard for various backgrounds, and guaranteeing a sense of belonging for everyone, no matter their uniqueness, are key parts of our vision.

Icebreaker Activities For Middle School

Since its inception, DHIFI has grown into a dynamic force, empowering educational entities, individuals and families to embrace and show off their unique qualities, thereby turning challenges into possibilities for collective growth and personal empowerment. Testimonials

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.

When the U.S. Embassy in Israel hosted Meg Zucker as a Distinguished American Speaker in 2015, the audiences she spoke and met with were deeply inspired by her personal story, her effective advocacy, and the early success of Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It.  Her appearance made a huge impact with advocates for inclusion and acceptance which still resonates today with those who met her.

Daniel Shapiro

former U.S. Ambassador to Israel

Meg is an energetic and engaging speaker who inspires all who meet her with her life story of growing up with a blatant physical difference and parenting kids who share her difference.   Her message of “the things that make me different make me, me” is heartfelt and impactful and resonates with audiences of all ages and backgrounds.  Meg’s mission of building acceptance, tolerance, and empathy is more important now than ever before.  Everyone who has the pleasure of hearing Meg’s story and her vision will be better for it.
