At Don’t Hide It, Flaunt It, our goal is to promote a SEL curriculum for organizations to help individuals celebrate their individuality. Each individual should be able to feel recognized, heard, and valued. At Don’t Hide It Flaunt It (DHIFI), we foster environments that allow for this can happen by promoting individuality. We aim to promote acceptance, self-esteem and empathy for people of diverse backgrounds through a variety of programs.

Inclusion And Belonging Programs

We believe that belonging initiatives for middle schools is truly capable of making a difference in the world. At the core of our work at DHIFI is Social Emotional Learning. One of the goals of SEL is to assist students in better understanding their emotions, building interpersonal skills, and making informed decisions, with a focus on students. Increasing awareness of how others experience the world, encouraging team building and encouraging better communication are simply several benefits of SEL activities. These activities help participants connect with themselves and others, building the foundational social skills necessary for success, both personally and academically. Inclusion Programs For Universities

In addition to social emotional learning activities, we also focus on a inclusion program for students. At DHIFI, we make sure that everybody feels like they belong, no matter no matter what their gender, race, background, or abilities happen to be. More than just inclusion, we emphasize inclusion and inclusion, with a goal of making certain equal access to the same opportunities. Our programming is ideal for schools, corporate settings, and community groups, with interactive formats that tackle an array of topics.

Bullying Prevention Curriculum Disability Awareness Workshop For Universities

Our focus on disability support curriculum for organizations is essential to our mission, as bullying frequently stems from a failure in understanding and acceptance of differences. We aim to address bullying’s core issues and provide students with tools to take action against it when they encounter it daily. This is achieved through candid discussions and interactive programs. The importance of empathy, kindness, and respect can’t be overstated. This is why students learn to recognize behaviors of bullying in their communities and stand against them. This program is designed to help kids and teens build self-confidence, empathy and healthy relationship skills.

We work with community organizations, summer camps, faith-based organizations, and other non-profits.

During our 2019 annual President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) Symposium, Meg gave an impressionable presentation titled “What You Think of Me is None of My Business: Embracing Your Superpower” which embodied our theme of PCCW Celebrates One Cornell: Diversity and Inclusion.” Not only was Meg’s presentation insightful, thoughtful and impactful, but she captivated the audience. Sharing stories about those who go through life with visible and invisible differences made us aware that we all face difficulties and challenges in many ways, but together, through education and awareness, we can be compassionate, loving and caring to everyone, no matter the trials and tribulations ahead.
